Suisse: Adaptation aux changements climatiques - Objectifs, défis et champs d’action

This strategy sets the framework for a coordinated approach at the federal level for adaptation to climate change. It must enable Switzerland to exploit the opportunities offered by climate change and minimize the risks it induces while strengthening the adaptive capacity of natural and socio-economic systems.

The adaptation strategy is made up of two parts. This section contains the objectives, challenges and areas of action for adaptation to climate change. The challenges include extreme heat in urban areas, drought, floods and land movements. In addition to these challenges, the first part of the strategy also deals with adaptations in the following sectors: water management, management of natural hazards, agriculture, forestry economy, energy, tourism, biodiversity management, health and territorial development. Adaptation measures will be integrated into a coordinated action plan, constituting the second part of the strategy.

Cette stratégie fixe le cadre d’une démarche coordonnée au niveau fédéral pour l’adaptation aux changements climatiques. Elle doit permettre à la Suisse d’exploiter les opportunités offertes par les changements climatiques et de minimiser les risques qu’ils induisent, tout en renforçant la capacité d’adaptation des systèmes naturels et socio-économiques.

La stratégie d’adaptation est composée de deux volets. Le présent volet contient les objectifs, les défis et les champs d’action de l’adaptation aux changements climatiques. Les défis comprennent les fortes chaleurs en agglomération, la sécheresse, les crues et les mouvements de terrain, parmi d'autres. Outre ces défis, le premier volet de la stratégie traite également des adaptations dans les secteurs suivants: gestion des eaux, gestion des dangers naturels, agriculture, économie forestière, énergie, tourisme, gestion de la biodiversité, santé et développement territorial. Les mesures d'adaptation seront intégrées dans un plan d’action coordonné, qui constituera le deuxième volet de la stratégie.
