Mexico: Lineamientos preventivos de operación ante fenómenos naturales perturbadores

Mexico’s National Coordination of Civil Protection published the new official guidelines for access to the Disaster Prevention Fund Program on November 24, 2021 in the Official Gazette. Mexico possesses a strong system, whose proper functioning has been proven on several occasions, with the inclusion of all DRM-relevant stakeholders. The existence of a Disaster Prevention Fund Program (FONDO PREVENTIVO) explicitly directed and earmarked for prevention, is a very positive aspect of Mexico’s DRR system.
