Philippines: Region 10 to observe international day for disaster reduction

The Regional Disaster Risk Reduction Management (DRRM) Council in Region 10 will be observing the International Day for Disaster Reduction and the ASEAN Day for Disaster Management (ADDM) this week on 13 October.

"The advocacy is ever-growing for everyone to pay more attention to cities and urban areas where potential damage and losses for natural disasters would be tremendous and tragic," said Carmelito A. Lupo, director of the Office of Civil Defence, Region 10.
