Building Livelihood Resilience in Changing Climate
Wetlands International-South Asia (WISA), International Development Research Center (IDRC), Cordaid and Ekgaon Technologies invite you to participate in the Asian Regional Conference on ‘Building Livelihood Resilience in Changing Climate’.
The conference focuses on the differences in perceptions of livelihood resilience within various development domains. It seeks to provide a platform to key actors including practitioners, researchers, policy and decision makers, donors and trainers from these domains to craft a shared vision of livelihoods resilience.

The conference invites contributions (full length papers, posters and videos) on the following areas:
* Exploring livelihood resilience: concepts, frameworks and approaches
* Livelihood resilience pathways: institutions and governance; markets; information, communication and technology
* Creating livelihood resilience in practice: case studies, lessons learned, challenges and opportunities
* Policy dimensions of livelihood resilience
* Bridging gaps between science, policy and practice
Delegates wanting to submit a paper, poster, or video can send an abstract of 300 words with a short and clear title, submitted via the conference website on or before 15 January 2011.
Submissions will be reviewed and confirmed by a technical panel.
