Philippines disaster authorities now using blackberries, laptops vs. quakes, tsunamis, storms

Philippines Provincial Disaster Coordinating Council (PDCC) in Eastern Visayas is now using Blackberry devices and computer laptops as part of a text messaging-based early warning system against any typhoon or storm surge, tsunami, flashflood or mudslide, or earthquakes.
