Ugandans will continue facing disasters if government fails to significantly invest in an early warning weather system which can forecast grim weather patterns for quick preparations, Norwegian Foreign Affairs minister Ingrid Fiskaa has warned. As reported by Joseph Miti for the Daily Monitor, Ms Fiskaa also called the government to educate the public on different weather patterns and related disasters to reduce adverse effects normally caused by calamities such as floods, landslides and famine.
