Thailand: Continuity simulations help businesses plan and save

According to the Bangkok Post, 3D simulations will play an increasing role in design and construction to prevent future crises and will allow industrial and business operators to see visible proof of what could happen to potential customers and suppliers, and also reduce their disaster insurance costs. The government invested in a warning system for natural disasters after the tsunami in 2004. "But the flood crisis will change companies' mindset and make them fully aware and invest more in business continuity planning," says Chatchai Suphakawanich, the president of Twoplus Soft, a construction IT specialist.
