Peru's farmers fight climate change using modern and Inca techniques

At 3,800 metres above sea level, on the high plateaus of the Andes "Adapting to climate change is above all a question of combating rural poverty," says Lenkiza Angulo, the Climate Change Adaptation Programme (Pacc) national co-ordinator, as reported by The Guardian. Local residents have been involved in activities such as daily data collection at the weather station and water conservation projects.
