India: Child-centered participatory vulnerability and capacity assessment, villages of Leh and Kargil, Ladakh

Engagement of children in disaster risk reduction activities is one of the most important tasks in making India safer. This brief note is an example of children’s participation in Participatory Vulnerability and Capacity Assessment (PVCA) process. Children identified the places as disaster prone areas in their schools and community during PVCA exercise in villages of Ladakh.
