ESCAP Trust Fund for Tsunami, Disaster and Climate Preparedness - Call for proposals

ESCAP is calling for project proposals to build and enhance tsunami, disaster and climate preparedness capacities, particularly in end-to-end early warning for coastal hazards.

Deadline:
31 January 2014

Organizations that can apply:
- Governments
- Intergovernmental organizations
- UN agencies, funds and programmes
- Academic institutions
- Non-governmental organizations (not for profit)

Geographic scope:
Australia, Bangladesh, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Islamic Republic of Iran, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, Pakistan, the Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Timor-Leste and Viet Nam.

Project duration:
Maximum project duration is 18 months. All project activities must be fully implemented by 31 December 2015.
