Bangladesh: Denmark to help implement climate change adaptation project

Denmark and Bangladesh has signed an agreement on a Climate Change Adaptation Pilot Project (CCAPP), reports Financial Express. The project will facilitate strengthening rural infrastructure including drainage and flood protection systems. It will also raise community awareness and improve access to cyclone shelters as well as offering employment opportunities to poor rural women.
