4th AMCDRR: 'What do we do when the nature goes hard on us?'

The World Meteorological Organization (WMO), United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), Asian Disaster Reduction Centre (ADRC) and related parties gathered at the 4th Asian Ministerial Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction in Incheon, Republic of Korea, to refine ministerial declarations, reasonable roadmaps - including climate change adaptation, and active plans for current and future 'natural disasters'. Representatives of the Philippines, Fiji, Tuvalu and Vanuatu shared lessons learned from tragic experiences as well as climate change adaptation strategies, reaffirmed their commitment to the Hyogo Framework for Action 2005-2015 in order to produce practical and concrete plans to reduce disaster risks in Asia-Pacific region.
