Pakistan joins in with others to observe World Disaster Reduction Day on 13th October, 2011. The event will be followed by the launching and signing of Children charter and launching of One Million Safe Schools and Hospitals and Resilient Cities Campaign. The event will be organized simultaneously in District Thatta (Sindh) and Muzaffargarh (Punjab).
