UNEP year book 2010: new science and developments in our changing environment

This report on new environmental science and recent developments in our changing environment looks at issues covering: environment-related disasters and conflicts; impacts on the atmosphere leading to continuing climate change; progress in environmental governance; the effects of continuing degradation and loss of the world’s ecosystems; harmful substances and hazardous wastes that affect human health and the environment; and unsustainable use of resources.

Its purpose is to strengthen the science-policy interface. It presents recent developments and new insights of particular interest to policy-makers.
