Mozambique: Plano de contingênciado sector de águas

The country has been cyclically affected by extreme events caused by hydroclimatic factors. To respond to these events, the Water Sector has met annually to jointly develop a Contingency Plan, which constitutes a response instrument for floods and droughts.

The Contingency Plan now prepared presents the actions to be carried out during the rainy season by the Water Sector and the respective budget, taking into account the forecast of the hydrological scenario.
