Disaster mitigation express (Issue 4)

This News Letter issued by DDMA-Gorakhpur is in the context of its effort executed in a quarter of 2019-for enhancing the disaster resiliency with the district.

As per advocacy and technical support provided from UNICEF, UPDDMA, Gorakhpur had developed a unique SOP focusing on adoption of precise roles and responsibilities of the stakeholders for adoption of preventive measures to mitigate the aftermath of flood, heat waves and fire. SOP has been developed by holding various sectorial meetings with the stakeholders for drafting their duties in the perspective of heat waves and fire.
