An open call to express interest in contributing to Resilience Pathways 2022. Fill up the expression of interest form to make a submission by May 31th, 2021.

What is the purpose of the open call for contributions?

While many potential contributors to Resilience Pathways are known to project organizers, many are not known. The intent of the open call is to broaden the perspectives shared in each article of the Resilience Pathways 2022 collection. Open call contributors will be providing additional information and insight to the development of articles, enabling co-authors to consider a potentially greater range of challenges, impacts, resilience planning activities, and recommendations.

This open call is intended to identify interest from any public, non-profit, or private organizations or individuals that have experience in disaster and climate risk resilience activities.

Those who are interested in contributing to Resilience Pathways should submit an expression of interest using the Expression of Interest form.

What happens after an Expression of Interest is submitted?

The completed form will be shared with the co-authors of each article topic (see anticipated list of articles).

The co-authors will consider the submission, looking for ideas that fit well with their articles. If matches are found between article topics and open call submissions, authors will contact the open call contributor to discuss the use of submitted information and possible collaboration.

The inclusion in Resilience Pathways 2022 of materials submitted by an Expression of Interest is not guaranteed.

Who should submit an Expression of Interest?

  • Indigenous Knowledge.

  • A case study or pilot project that has been innovative, sparked change, and has the potential for replication or scaling up across the province or the country.
