In India's Bihar State the Disaster Management Authority has initiated 'chetna raths', a public awareness campaign for disaster mitigation and risk reduction, reports the Times of India. As part of the campaign, in collaboration with UNICEF, two flood preparedness workshops will be organized and disaster preparedness songs have been sent to the District Disaster Management Authorities.
