Nigeria: NEMA designing curriculum for disaster risk reduction

In a report on rehabilitating disaster victims, the Coordinator of NEMA Nigeria, Alhaji Alhassan Aliyu, announced plans by NEMA to design an education curriculum on disaster risk reduction (DRR) for educational institutions in the country. He also mentioned that the agency has been active in raising awareness on floods, before the commencement of this year's rainy season.
