Making sure storm, flood and cyclone preparation message isn't lost in translation

In times of disaster, the key is preparation, and people are urged to develop their evacuation plans before the crisis hits.

A recent RACQ survey of more than 400 Queenslanders found that while 63 per cent of people were concerned about the impact of storm and flooding, less than half had made an emergency plan.

When English isn't your first language, it can be even more challenging knowing how to prepare.
