Fiji National University wins international bid for climate change adaptation and mitigation

Fiji National University has won an international bid to implement a new project called Education for Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation, funded by the European Union, reports Island Business International.

“From the first of January 2014 the program will cover the period 2014 – 2020 we will have a major budget, this is not just for the Pacific unfortunately of 14.7 billion Euros which is 36.9 Fijian dollars for students mobility," said the head of the European Union in the Pacific, Andrew Jacobs.
