Eastern Chinese city braces for flood

According to the country's flood authority, many dykes in Laxi City are on the brink of overflowing, potentially affecting more than 20,000 people. China's minister for water resources, Chen Lei, urged local authorities to improve weather forecasting and ensure the safety of dykes, reservoirs and dams.
