Bangladesh-China joint statement related to climate change and DRR

A 'Joint Statement on Deepening the Closer Comprehensive Partnership of Cooperation between Bangladesh and China' was released following official talks between Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and China Premier Li Keqiang.
In this statement, China agreed to enhance its support to Bangladesh in addressing climate change challenges as well to further strengthen cooperation on managing natural disasters. This includes the development of a framework of cooperation related to urban disaster rescue, relief and rehabilitation between the two countries.
