International DRR day celebration in Indonesia

Plan Indonesia in collaboration with DNPI (national council on climate change), national agency for disaster management (NDMA), Social welfare ministry, and number of NGO/INGO as well as UN Agencies are conducing several activities to mark International DRR day and promote the Step Up campaign:

- One day workshop, will be held on 27th Oct 2011; the workshop will be attended by participants from government (national & local Gov), private sector, journalist, NGO/INGO, etc.

- Drill/simulation by the children, (communication system to facing flood disaster)

- Story telling

- Launching of the Children's Charter for DRR
