ARISE Japan is a national network of ARISE. ARISE Japan organizes "ARISE Japan Public Symposium" as its annual flagship public symposium to discuss a focused theme to contribute to the implementation of the Sendai Framework.

This commitment strengthens climate and disaster resilience in Guidimakha, Mauritania through community-led Nature-based Solutions (NbS) and eco-DRR, addressing floods, drought, heatwaves and wildfires, with a replication and learning window for Nouakchott’s coastal/littoral resilience (2026–2028).

ADPC is an autonomous international organization committed to build the resilience of people and institutions to disasters and climate change impacts in Asia and the Pacific. We provide technical services across social and physical sciences to support sustainable solutions.

Shifting the Power Coalition is comprised of women’s rights and disability organisations across the Pacific region working together to strengthen diverse women’s voices, agency and decision making in disaster preparedness, response and recovery.

The World Bosai Forum brings together actors in disaster risk reduction from across society and the world to share knowledge, learn from one another, and achieve holistic risk reduction.

For this initiative, the Climate Centre and its partners have the goal of designing games about disaster preparedness and other humanitarian issues. Games can support the development of better governance and disaster risk management systems.

The Global Alliance of Disaster Research Institutes (GADRI) aims to form a collaborative platform for research and knowledge sharing across DRR and resilience. GADRI organizes its biennial GADRI Global Summit, bringing together its members to present, discuss, report, and evaluate the research being conducted across the network.

The ARISE Japan and ARISE Philippines, two active ARISE national networks, have come together to share their knowledge, experiences, and opportunities to improve disaster resilience in the private sector.

By implementing this pilot project for SMEs Resilience in Sendai City, Sendai City aims at improving the disaster resilience of its Small and Medium Enterprises in Sendai City.

Fly for Humanity optimizes the use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), or drones, in the process of handling disasters to contribute to building resilience for Indonesia.
