This case study examines the situational assessment the Met Office carried out for the Department for Climate Change and Meteorological Services (DCCMS) of Malawi, in order to deliver improved real-time weather monitoring and forecasting and to enable the DCCMS to supply climate variability and change scenarios for basin planning to support the programme’s objective.
