Climate change and disaster risk reduction: Caritas Switzerland’s approach

Source(s):  Caritas Switzerland

This flyer presents the three entry points Caritas Switzerland uses in order to reduce risks: (i) adaptation and preparedness; (ii) DRR prevention; and (iii) climate change mitigation. Through a diagram, it introduces the bounce back better approach as well as the "Climate Protection for All" movement which intends to help vulnerable groups such as small farmers to adapt their agricultural production system to the changing climatic conditions and enhance their capacities to prevent and cope with disasters.
