Owning adaptation: country-level governance of climate adaptation finance

Source(s):  Oxfam International Secretariat

This briefing paper addresses the governance of funding for climate change adaptation in developing countries at the global and country level in order for the needs of the most vulnerable to be met. It particularly considers country-level ownership of adaptation finance and advocates for climate funding to prioritize and clearly provide resource allocations for those areas and populations most affected by climate-related risks and with the greatest need for building adaptive capacity due to vulnerability.
