Urban poverty, food security and climate change

This briefing paper addresses urban food security and: (i) its key sources, including low-income and informal urban settlements, which are exposed to environmental hazards that climate change further exacerbates; (ii) the food markets for the urban poor; (iii) migration and food security; and (iv) proposes some policy priorities that address both the production and consumption dimensions.
