Unaccounted for: a national report card on protecting children in disaster

This publication is the result of a Save the Children's commissioned a state-by-state assessment of U.S. preparation and safety standards for children in child care facilities and in schools. It outlines glaring gaps in emergency preparedness, response and recovery, underscored by a remarkable year of domestic disaster. It also introduce "Get Ready Get Safe" – a nationwide movement to ensure that families and communities in the United States are prepared to protect children before, during and after a disaster.
