Pakistan National Disaster Response Plan (NDRP) 2026

The National Disaster Response Plan (NDRP) 2026 articulates Pakistan’s operational framework to prepare for, respond to and recover from disasters in an increasingly complex and climate-vulnerable future. Recognizing escalating hazard profiles; from intensifying floods, earthquakes and Glacial Lake Outburst Floods (GLOFs) to heatwaves, cyclones and drought. This plan sets forth a coordinated, multilevel, proactive approach that employs Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) techniques. Plan strengthens institutional capacity, integrates risk financing and leverages community resilience.
