New Zealand: National Adaptation Framework

The New Zealand government developed a long-term approach for building New Zealand's resilience to risks from natural hazards such as floods and storms. The National Adaptation Framework responds to the recommendations of the adaptation Independent Reference Group.

The framework sets out New Zealand's approach to build an enduring system that prepares for climate change, supports economic growth and keeps the overall costs to our society as low as possible.
