Enhancing flood management in Uganda with integrated early warning systems to contribute to women, peace and security (WPS)

This brief presents the results of a Government of Japan-funded FAO project on ''Enhancing flood management in Uganda with integrated early warning systems to contribute to women, peace and security''.

The objective was to mitigate the impact of conflict and climate shocks on vulnerable communities by restoring agricultural livelihoods and strengthening food security and resilience. The project supported 88 000 households (440 000 people) through integrated early warning systems activities.
