Climate finance country profile
The Climate Finance Country Profiles publication provides a comparative, data-driven snapshot of climate finance needs, flows, gaps, and priorities. Each profile consolidates information from national plans (NDCs, NAPs), international finance databases, and global benchmarks to show where countries stand on climate finance today and what is required to meet future adaptation and mitigation goals. They combine climate risk context (e.g. floods, droughts, heat, glaciers, coastal risk), estimated climate finance needs to mid-century, actual climate finance flows (2018–2021), and sectoral priorities for adaptation and mitigation. Each country page also situates finance needs relative to per-capita GDP and UNEP benchmarks, highlighting affordability gaps and equity concerns
