World Farmers call for climate action

The topic of Agriculture needs to be tackled at the Conference of Parties (COP 17) in Durban, writes Vanessa Meadu on the Agriculture & Rural Development Day blog. The COP is asked by the World Farmers Organization (WFO) to recommend an agriculture work program that covers both adaptation and mitigation. WFO also published a policy statement for COP17.
