The media plays an important role in promoting awareness during times of disaster says Permanent Secretary for Provincial Development and Disaster Management, Colonel Inia Seruiratu, as reported by Radio Fiji Two. It also reminds that the regional launch of the International Day for Disaster Reduction will be held on the 13th of next month in Suva.
