RISJ study: Marked differences between countries in reporting of climate change
A new study published by the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism 'Summoned by Science: Reporting Climate Change at Copenhagen and Beyond', attempts to explain the marked differences in the media between countries covering the UN climate change conference held in Copenhagen last year. The authors found that, out of the 12 countries studied, Brazil and India provided the most coverage, followed by Australia and the UK, whilst Nigeria, Russia and Egypt provided the least.
