Hough, a seismologist with the US Geological Survey in Pasadena, CA (USA) asserts that 'the time to act is before disaster strikes, by preparing hospitals and other specialized teams to plan for the inevitable', stressing that it is crucial to strengthen Haiti's hospitals for earthquake resilience.
