Zambia: Government intensifies flood mitigation efforts in Lusaka

Redoubling disaster mitigation efforts in flood affected areas of Lusaka, the government has been commended for 'putting in place an effective Disaster Risk Reduction Programme in disaster prone areas' and has 'implored residents to take precautionary measures to avoid any outbreak of waterborne diseases.'
