According to a top Uganda Government official, the country is to form a national disaster management centre.
"We really have to wake up now, survival is at its most given the past experience. We really have to be prepared than we have been before," said Tarsis Kabwegyere, Minister of disaster preparedness and refugees.
"With the increasing population, booming construction industry, and effects of global warming like floods and drought, the country can not continue using old methods to handle disasters' he added.
