Philippines: Climate change summit themed 'Reducing disaster risk in a changing climate'

A joint initiative of the National Disaster Coordinating Council, the Office of Civil Defence and the Zamboanga city government, the 'Multi-Stakeholder Forum on Climate Change Adaptation', which will start this week, will include several strategies on how communities can adapt to climate change.

City Mayor Celso Lobregat Monday said the summit dubbed “Multi-Stakeholder Forum on Climate Change Adaptation,” will be themed “Reducing Disaster Risk in a Changing Climate.”
