International Day for Disaster Reduction 2011 was marked in Nepal with a symposium in which stakeholders stressed the need to make children and youths partners in disaster reduction programmes and policy-making, according to the Kathmandu Post, which also states that sixty districts in the country have already prepared disaster reduction plan.
