Disaster management department minister Renu Kumari Kushwaha on Wednesday appealed to stakeholders in disaster management programme to prepare both short-term and long-term programmes for disaster risk reduction and disaster management, addressing a workshop that marked the launch of disaster risk reduction programme 2009-12 by UNDP under a model project in Patna, Sitamarhi and Madhubani districts, reports the Times of India.
