"It is the intention, that at the end to this training, participants would have gained some knowledge of geospatial data management for disaster risk reduction that would assist you in establishing geospatial portal for disaster risk management (Geo-DRM) in the Fiji government.
"And further enhance your ability to acquire, process, disseminate and apply geospatial data for disaster risk reduction," Ministry of Rural and Maritime Development and National Disaster Management deputy secretary Setareki Tale told Fiji Times at the opening of the capacity training on the establishment of geo data management for disaster risk reduction.
