'Experts say beef up anti-flood measures'

According to People's Daily Online, urban development experts are warning that the poor condition of anti-flooding infrastructure in many newly urbanized areas could threaten many Chinese cities, and call for building flood-proof cities, reminding that 50 percent of Chinese cities fail to meet national flood-control standards.
