UR26 invites practitioners, researchers, innovators, and policymakers to share ideas, tools, and experiences shaping the future of disaster risk management. We welcome submissions that push boundaries, challenge assumptions, and offer practical insights from across regions and disciplines.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Technology for Resilience | Sustainability, Climate Action & Environmental Resilience | Preparedness, Response & Future-Ready Systems | Disaster Recovery & the Disaster-Conflict Nexus | Human-Centered Resilience & Risk Communication | Risk Financing, Business Continuity & Economic Resilience

UR26 also introduces Risk Resonance, a special one-day symposium dedicated to innovation and creativity in risk communication. Held in memory of Pablo Suárez, this symposium will explore the latest approaches and techniques, new frontiers, and how we can harness the power of creativity to transform the way risk is understood and acted upon.
