Antigua: Seismic activity prompts call for preparedness

In the wake of increased seismic activity in and around the Leeward Islands, acting Deputy Director Sherrod James said residents should not panic, but rather practice earthquake safety activities. "We here at the National Office of Disaster Services have been embarking on public awareness and education campaign of persons being more aware of all the various dangers that seismic events can pose," he explained to the Daily Observer.
