The role of citizens, NGOs and local governments for disaster risk reduction with a focus on knowledge for life
Background
The summit on Natural Disaster Reduction International Day for Disaster Reduction 2015 aims to raise awareness among NGOs and local groups active in the area of disaster management and natural disasters. On 19 October 2015 the conference was attended by more than 60 experts and officials of the National Disaster Management Office, as well as the people involved and interested in Tehran disaster mitigation and management organization.
