The programme of GEM's outreach meeting, to take place in Munich, Germany, on 8th-10th June 2009, has been finalised. The goal of the meeting is to present the benefits of GEM to its stakeholders, define the agenda for the socio-economic impact branch of GEM and discuss the GEM implementation plan. The developments in GEM1 and the Regional Initiatives which will feed into GEM and be integrated with the hazard, risk and socio-economic global components will also be presented and discussed.
