Food and agriculture futures: Response to the intergovernmental panel on climate change (IPCC)
In late March 2014 the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Working Group II will finalize its report on 'Impacts, Adaptation and Vulnerability'.
A broad range of international experts, including IPCC authors and farmers, will address the issues raised in the new report from the perspective of smallholder farming and global food security. The conference will examine solutions to help smallholder farming communities adapt and thrive in the face of climate change impacts. It will also discuss the broader changes needed in the food system.
